Camera Resolution Chart
Camera Resolution Chart
Found a deal "maybe" too good to be true?
540tvl cameras priced so low you couldnt resist?
We know this market, we've been supplying cctv products for 11 years. Over 40,000 unique customers in our database has made us one of America's largest suppliers of DVR and cameras.
We own a percentage of our camera manufacturer and our DVR manufacturer. We know exactly what the cost of CCD, Lens, DSP, and Camera housings are. Our margins have always been as low as possible, our pricing has made us a favorite among industry professionals and security managers.
We are and always have been active in staying ahead of our competition. We see and hear of a deal we cant match? We buy our competitions offering. We then test, and verify to make sure we're not missing something.
Our findings?
They're not providing value to buyers, they're "juicing" the specification. When you order and pay for an advertised 520tvl or 540tvl camera, you should receive a 520tvl or 540tvl camera. What we received after measuring resolution using a certified resolution chart was 380tvl to 420tvl. This is Not just an isolated problem, this is the norm, unfortunately.
Its not just a problem with online sellers on eBay and other heavy discounters, this issue is simply prevalent everywhere. We discovered the same issue with very well known manufacturers.
Why does it happen and continue to happen? NO ONE has been able or maybe "willing" to offer resolution charts to the public. If you search for a res chart, cost is typically 200.00 dollars or more. We are changing the rules, EVERY buyer will have affordable access now, EVERY supplier will be held accountable.
One importer has recently grown to a supplier to this industry with camera volume exceeding greater than 15,000 cameras a month. Those cameras find their way to online sites, resellers, installers. Finally, those same cameras end up guarding YOUR business and assets.
We tested dozens of their models. NOT A SINGLE MODEL matched advertised specs. Every model tested was verified as a low grade CCD, 380TVL to 420TVL performance even though heralded as a very high 550 and in one case 600tvl camera. We're professional, simply, advised them politely. Their response? Manufacturer mistake, no one cares, no one has a res chart.
"Please buy more, no one beats our price." Manufacturer mistake? We ordered again 3 months later, and again 3 months later. Same result. They're right, NO ONE beats their price. A multi-million dollar fraud and at the end of the day, the end user, the business owner simply protecting their assets pays the price for sub par performance.

Our Competition?
If they cant supply you with a resolution chart, does that mean they also don't even have a resolution chart? That they dont test their product?
Or, are they not comfortable supplying EVERY buyer with a chart? We are, and as of this advertisement, we believe we're the only
major distributor that does.
When true value is measured apples for apples, NO ONE matches our value.
Integrity. Lets let a resolution chart be the judge.
