Network Setup Tutorial The First Step in setting up your DVR for a Local Area Network is getting the LAN Parameters. For this example we're using a PC running Windows XP.
Click on Start
Click on 'Run'
Type 'CMD' and click OK to bring up the Command Prompt.
Type 'ipconfig' and press return
Write down the IP Address, Subnet Mask and the Default Gateway
